  • One needs to focus of a few key priorities
  • A resolute leader must persist and build relationships by trying to understand the hesitations and objections people might have.
  • When teachers work together, led by an instructionally-focused principal they are much more successful.
  • Sharing of the most effective instructional practices is important.
